I'm Leygh, a photographer, filmmaker, and visual storyteller based in Panama. My work is built around one idea: that the best images don't just document a moment, they carry the feeling of it.
I came to photography through a deep interest in movement, nature, and the kind of stillness that only shows up when you're genuinely present. That same sensibility informs every project I take on, whether it's a portrait session, a wedding, or a full cinematic property campaign.
I work with people and brands who are serious about how they're perceived, not just shown. My clients include realtors, developers, hotels, retreat owners, couples, families, and creative entrepreneurs across Panama and internationally.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me chasing waves, deep in the jungle, or somewhere off the map. My life and my work grow from the same roots: a love of nature, movement, and being fully present in wild places. The way I live is the way I see.
What I believe about visual storytelling.
Authenticity over aesthetics.
I've never been chasing "perfect." A photo can be technically flawless and still feel like nothing, and honestly, that's the kind of work I care about least. What matters to me is whether it feels true: whether it actually captures what someone is like, or what it felt like to be somewhere.
For me that usually means slowing down. Spending time with people before I ever raise the camera, paying attention to the light and the in-between moments, and waiting instead of forcing it. The images I'm most proud of are the ones that feel like they just happened, even when a lot of care went into them.
The story beneath the surface.
Most of us have a version of ourselves we want the world to see. I'm more interested in what's underneath that. The realness that shows up once the camera stops feeling like a camera and people settle into just being themselves.
Person, place, or brand, I'm always after the same thing: the detail that makes it unmistakably itself. That's the difference between a nice photo and one you actually carry with you.
What drives the work.
Authenticity
The most compelling images I've ever made were the ones where the subject was being themselves, not performing for the camera. I work to create the conditions for that.
Presence
Every location, person, and property has a character that only reveals itself when you're fully present with it. I spend time before I shoot. I pay attention before I press anything.
Light
Light is the difference between a document and an image. I chase it, wait for it, and sometimes build it, but it always has to feel like it belongs there.
Storytelling
Single images are powerful. But a set of images that builds into a sequence, a film, or a campaign creates something the viewer carries with them long after.
Intention
Every creative decision is intentional, from the frame to the timing to the edit. There's no filler. No padding. Every image in a final set earns its place.
Restraint
Knowing what to leave out is as important as knowing what to include. The quieter approach usually produces the more powerful result.
